1) chia-jung and i visit with the supremely funny Ralphie May. If you haven’t seen him or heard him, by all means, you should. We laughed our tushies off.
2) dan and i visit with death on the best roller coaster ever: Nitro. Nitro kicks ass. Nitro goes 80 miles an hour. Nitro has an initial drop of 215 feet. Nitro kicks ass.

Alright, maybe I’m being a little harsh here, but I haven’t seen Ralphie Mae do a single original joke during almost two seasons of “Last Comic Standing.” I have heard everything he’s ever said a dozen other places.
And, he’s offensive about it to boot.
You think Dat Phan is funny, don’t you?
Not particularly. I thought that Rich Vos was much funnier as well as that guy from Minnesota. But, that really shy guy who was friends with the blonde one was my favorite.
Actually all but Tess were funnier than Dat Phan or Ralphie Mae.
Well, to each his own. I think Ralphie May’s hilarious. Didn’t see him on Last Comic Standing, just at the Stress Factory here in Jersey. He was wearing a Cubs hat (that’s what we’re discussing as the photo was being taken.) He seems like a nice guy and he made me laugh my ass off.
Why do you insist on misspelling his name?
Totally subconscious. Ralpie May. Wasn’t trying to emaciate him or anything. Although it could seem that way.
I can see what you’re saying. All of the comics are much funnier when doing a full routine than three minutes of jokes. But, I kind of like the Last Comic format since it makes them all kind of situational. More extemporaneous.
I’m sure he’s a very nice guy. Most people with his stage persona are.
