today it was incredibly bright, sunny, and clear. the storm blew through leaving a 20-some inches of snow in the area. people dig out and i can’t wait for all of them to shovel their sidewalks because i’m sick of stumbling around the neighborhoods.

crowd at morseland last night was huge — 3 college bands played and they actually brought people out. and these people they brought crowded the stage, packed it in, made it look like a real show. college kids — you so crazy.

walking to the train station, a woman behind me said something — i thought she was making fun of my stumbling (not drunk — just not good footing on unevenly snowy terrain in my Docs, which aren’t the best snow boots) and then as she passed me, she taps me on the elbow. then she looked at me.

“oh sorry. i’m just playin'”
“no problem,” says i.
“i thought you were somebody else.”
“aha.”
“you look like a black person from behind.”
“i have never heard that one before….”

a bit of amusement to ponder while i waited 20 minutes for a train….

what was i saying? oh yeah — it was sunny today.
